  2. Great stuff, Hari, thanks for putting that in a post, a great fan service.
    I was really quite impressed with him, today. To be so eloquent in 140 characters is quite a feat. And he chose wisely – great questions, and thoughtful, insightful, reflective answers. His answer re Proctor likes/dislikes really resonated with me.

    • My pleasure entirely! i liked it so much i wanted to read most answers several time and the scrolling on twitter is too annoying for that 😉 Didn’t he do well? i always want more 😉 But he chose really interesting and nice questions and things that would interest a lot of people not just the person who asked the question. And i found all answers really interesting and he managed to put so much meaning in so few words! So few people are really good at it and he usually nails it. The Proctor answer was particularly touching i felt.. and i felt equally touched when he said he does go back to him.. And the fact that he feels proud about it, it’s such a basic thing but it is nice to read him say that. It took me right back to that fascinating person i saw in that In Conversation at the Old Vic 🙂

    • sehr gern! und es war meist egoistisch gedacht, so kann ich es immer wieder lesen ohne mich mit twitter abzugeben 😉 Ist ein wirklich schones QA und schon diese Gedanken immer wieder zu lesen. Und gleich 2 Fotos als Bonus! Ich weiss wir klagen manchmal bei Marketing es ist zuviel aber ich hab sein normales selfie Gesicht echt vermisst. Schon zu sehen das alles noch da ist ‘ggg’ Ich weiss nicht ob ich das Pferd Foto oder das selfie mehr mag. Auf dem Pferd kommt er mehr zur Geltung 🙂
      er sieht irgendwie schmaler im Gesicht aus, oder?

      • Der Scheiß mit den Selfies ist die Perspektive. Dadurch ergeben sich leicht verzerrte Gesichtszüge. Mußt dir mal die anderen anschauen. Dort siehst du z.T. den gleichen Effekt. Ja, das Pferd ist schön 😀 Der Kerl in Komplettansicht auch (was für ein Figürchen!), bloß vom Gesicht gibts nicht viel zu erkennen. *meckermodus aus* . Wie gesagt, ich freue mich immer völlig unkritisch über jedes “normale” Futter, das ich zu sehen kriege. Diese gestellten Fotos vom roten Teppich oder diese Pseudo-Schmacht-Posen gehen mir mittleweile eher auf den Keks. Ich habs gerne “natürlich”, auch wenn das ein wenig inszeniert ist.

        • Mir auch ich mein die red carpets hab ich uber Natürlich sieht er immer besser aus 🙂 Ich bin sonst kleiderkritisch aber ihn find ich immer gut ‘rot werd’ Frage much was es wohl ist daß Mann auf Pferd immer besonders attraktiv macht…

          • Was ist das denn für eine Frage: Kerle auf Pferden. Das ist doch quasi die Verdoppelung des maskulinen Effektes: Kraft,Stärke, Virilität, sprich Männlichkeit in Potenz (ja, das soll doppeldeutig sein!) 🙂 Und dann die garnicht so unterschwellige Vorstellung, was der da so mit seinen Schenkeln macht….. Also, wenn du mich verstehst 😉 Das ist meines Erachtens das, was es mit Pferden und Kerlen in Kombination ausmacht.

  4. Danke für die Zusammenfassung, für mehr habe ich gar keine Zeit das war schnelles Lesen mit 100% Info!!!. Waren interessante Antworten dabei. Cate Blanchett muss ja gewaltigen Eindruck hinterlassen haben, die hat er ja schon ein paarmal genannt 🙂

  6. Thanks for collecting these! My two favorites are his mention of Michael Gambon–who seems to have influenced so many actors– and his interest in Macbeth. Oh yeeeeesssssss 🙂 Could there be more perfect casting for that role?

    • i liked his Proctor- related ones especially 😉 Predictable here 😉 Yes i am happy about the Macbeth too! I don’t know if perfect casting, there have been many striking ones and varied ones, it is quite a strange one but it is a big and interesting part so it makes sense. I quite like the play, although i like some of the historical ones more. Ok, i’ll admit i’d have liked to see some of the the non-evil Shakespeares maybe first, it feels as if he goes to Macbeth there is definitely not going to be any Hamlet or Richard II or Henry V…. I don’t believe in any age limits where Shakespeare is concerned 🙂 But he probably just doesn’t have that much time to do theatre so there won’t be that many roles in general. Having said that Macbeth is a complex and challenging one, so something to look forward to.
